The location of Achaniar Cottage was perfect, just a short walk from the town center. The cottage itself was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and good quality linens and towels. Despite a few minor issues, overall it was a great place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The welcome basket with Tunnocks tea cakes was a nice touch, although fresh milk would have been preferred over UHT. Additionally, the coffee maker in the cottage was a bit complicated to use, and it would be helpful if a simpler cafetière was provided instead.

Enjoyed how clean the place was. Rooms here were equipped with a double bed, a travel cot, as for instance. Everything was simply fine. The apartment was set in the centre of St Andrews. Moreover, it was in nice area close to everything.

It was located in a nice enough area just off shops, the coast and Botanic Gardens, and the centre of St Andrews, Pretty building, where we stayed...

We had a wonderful stay at Achaniar Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and warm. The location was perfect, just a minute's walk to the main town centre streets, as well as within walking distance to the coast and Botanic Gardens. The cottage provided enough room for our family, with a decent-sized living/dining room and two double rooms. It even had space for our travel cot in the biggest room. We loved the nice courtyard at the back door and the convenience of off-street parking for one car. The kitchen equipment was also top-notch.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 👍

The location was perfect, right in the heart of town but tucked away from the main road, so it was nice and quiet at night. Having a private parking space was a bonus, and it made it easy to explore the surrounding area without worrying about parking. the cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with comfortable beds and high quality bed linen and towels. We loved how warm and inviting it was, making it a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. Cons: Not obvious to find 😕.

The location of the cottage is absolutely fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the main town center and within walking distance to the coast and Botanic Gardens. the convenience of being close to everything makes exploring the area a breeze. the cottage itself is clean, comfortable, and warm, with enough room for a family to relax and unwind. the living/dining room is spacious, and the two double rooms provide ample sleeping space. the kitchen is well, equipped, making it easy to whip up meals. the cottage offers off, street parking, a nice courtyard, and even Wi, Fi for those who need to stay connected.
The only downside we encountered was the issue with having only one set of keys. It became inconvenient and even potentially unsafe when one of us wanted to stay in while the other went out.

I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The amenities, including the kitchen and washer/dryer, were great. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything, even the famous Links. I really appreciated the free wi-fi and the information folder that provided details about the property and local amenities. The welcome basket was a nice touch too.
There was nothing I didn't like about my stay at Achaniar Cottage. 👍

It was also very convenient to have parking on site, as it can be busy elsewhere. the cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and warm, providing all the necessary amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, and iron. it was a decent stay.
The communication was very impersonal with constant automated messages reminding me of the limitations and strict entry and exit times. It felt like I was dealing with a robot and lacked any personal touch.

Perfect location for exploring, right in the heart of the town. The apartment was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The kitchen amenities were nice, including a washer and dryer. Plus, the Wi-Fi was a big bonus for staying connected.
The pillows provided were quite flat and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, it would have been nice if there were some basic supplies provided such as tea bags, coffee, and dishwasher tablets.
